This is a katana koshirae that is somewhat refined and quiet. The fuchi and kashira are both of iron with water plants done in shakudo and gold . The tsuba is signed Yamashiro Fushimi Jyu Kaneiye. This is a nice older copy of a Kaneiye tsuba. It is better done than most. The sword tsunagi has a length of 26 9/16 inches or 67.4 cm. The sori is 9/16 inches or 1.4 cm. It is a torii sori. The motohaba is 1 3/8 inches or 3 cm. The menuki are shakudo cows. The ito is black even though it appears to be blue in some of the photos above.
