Nihonto.com is pleased to present this beautiful kozuka of the Kaga Gotô school. This kozuka depicts a warrior on horseback traversing a Bridge over a raging river. Both the warrior and the bridge are done in heavy solid gold and are quite stunning. The warrior is done in high relief and really stands out. As noted, the bridge is done entirely in gold. The raging river below is delicately carved in waves showing great movement. The river is created in shibuichi with z couple of golden rocks within. The back of the kozuka and the the framing of the warrior/bridge design are done in a heavy gold plate. This kozuka is in excellent condition and would make a welcome addition to any collection. The kozuka comes in a new custom made and fitted wooden box.
